XYL University of Cambridge, Natural Sciences
XYL graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Biological Natural Sciences. She also graduated from the Shenzhen International Communication University in high school with 3 A*s.
She specialises in Neuroscience and in her first two years of study, she mainly focused on evolution and genetics, botany, animal physiology, and ecology.
She has received full scholarship offers from California Institute of Technology, Columbia University, and University of California, San Diego. She is experienced in U.S master and doctoral applications and interviews.
In addition, she has been engaged in bioinformatics-related scientific research internships at Wellcome Sanger Institute, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and Cambridge University, so she has mastered big data analysis skills and has an in-depth understanding of scientific research.
She has been invited to give lectures on education many times, and often helps students to revise essays and prepare for interviews. She has excellent public speaking skills and a lot of experience in guidance for further studies.
