PTC studied economics at Trinity College in the University of Cambridge, graduating in 2007 with BA (Hons) and gained MA in 2010.
During his time at Cambridge, Peter was elected to office of Treasurer and the Standing Committee of the Cambridge Union Society in 2005 (the first person born in mainland China to achieve this). After graduating, Peter was a summer intern at UBS in 2006 and joined UBS as an analyst in 2007. At the age of 24, Peter joined the Jefferies in 2010 as a Vice-President making him the youngest Vice-President in the company at that time.
In 2016 Peter joined one of Europe’s largest investment bank and became co-head of European Structured Credit Trading. In his spare time, Peter is a member of the Trinity in Business and the City Association committee and is undergraduate mentoring officer, he is also a governor of Thomas Buxton Primary School which was rated Outstanding by the latest Ofsted inspection putting the school in the top 10% in the country.
